What is cellulite?
Cellulite is the term used to describe deposits of fat and other material trapped in pockets of connective tissue beneath the skin. Cellulite causes the progressive dimpling appearance of the skin. The main factors responsible for cellulite are excess consumption of saturated fats, lack of exercise, poor hydration and imbalances in hormonal function. More than 80% of all women are affected by cellulite.
How does the treatment work?
Endermologie penetrates to the deeper tissue of the skin, called the subcutaneous layer. The rolling motion of the treatment manipulates the superficial fascia level of the skin and enhances the skin’s fitness and appearance. By increasing the blood circulation in the subcutaneous layer, fluids and fat that cause the dimpling appearance are mobilized. The motorized rollers move in unique directions to manipulate and draw the skin into numerous folds. The appearance of cellulite is temporarily reduced. The positive effect can be sustained with regular maintenance and a healthy lifestyle.
Who is a good candidate?
If you are struggling to rid cellulite from a problem area of your body, Endermologie treatment can help. Treatment is most effective with individuals who live a healthy lifestyle. The success of the Endermologie program depends on your commitment. Adequate water intake flushes wastes from the body while hydrating muscles and other tissues. Muscle movement and exercise are vital to promote lymphatic circulation. While the lymphatic system is primarily responsible for removal of waste products from these areas, a two-liter-a-day water intake is an essential part of the Endermologie® program. A healthy diet filled with necessary ingredients to promote and maintain good health is important throughout treatment. This FDA-approved treatment has been proven to be effective. Additionally, independent medical studies have demonstrated a 400% increase in blood flow to the skin for more than six hours and a 300% increase in lymphatic flow for at least three hours following treatment. Photographs are performed before and during the treatments to document the efficacy and results of treatments. How do I maintain my Endermologie® treatment?
Like exercise, one session won’t produce recognizable results. But a sustained program consisting of at least 15-20 sessions will produce an improved appearance of cellulite and circumferential body measurements. Monthly maintenance sessions, combined with a healthy lifestyle can maintain the results that Endermologie® treatments can achieve. Similar to muscle tone and size, results are only temporary unless sustained with regular workouts. Endermologie® is fitness for the skin, and when treatments are done regularly your skin stays smooth. What equipment is used?
We use the only patented equipment for Endermologie® made by LPG. The Expat salon has a Cellu M6 Key Mode Endermologie® machine. Safety information?
Endermologie® is a proven noninvasive, effective and painless procedure. Most clients report feeling energized yet relaxed.
